Hurricanes vs. Cowboys 9/18 First WIN!!!

Saturday it was hot and humid again, but our team came out to WIN!!  The young men of our team really put on a show against the Cowboys! They proved to themselves and the coaches, that they REALLY want it!!!  They fought back from being down at halftime by 2 points and scored the game winning touchdown in the 4th quarter!

Please bring a bag of Candy---if possible to throw from the Parade Float!

We will resume Practice and Awards after the Parade at L.D.Bell HS, as usual

Hurricanes vs. Giants 9/11

First Game of the Season!  The Hurricanes came out strong in the first half, putting the first points on the board!!  They continued to play well and fight against the Giants, but in the end the Giants prevailed.  Our team played hard through the scorching heat and humidity (to put it lightly)!  

Not an UPSET, but now the Canes have a foundation to build on.  The toughest game is the first of the season.  GOOD JOB CANES!!!

Hurricanes vs. Giants

First Scrimmage of the Season

Pictures and Scrimmage Saturday!  Be there no later than 9:05am! 
Pictures turned out really well!  The boys all had fun, and they got to see all the other teams~~and friends.
The Scrimmage was a Learning Tool~to say the least!  The team played well.  There were good things done and some things needing work, but all in all the team played as a team, and they looked Great!!

PRACTICE, Practice, practice

Last week PRACTICE for FOOTBALL began!!  Four Days a Week, 2 hours long!  The boys were up to the challenge---though, I remembered last year and it was tough!
