Hurricanes vs. Texans, Conference CHAMPS!!

This was the most exciting game thus far!  Perfect football weather, cold and crisp graced by great play.  Speedy made tackles, I.T. made touchdowns, Chris, Brooks and Colin holding back the line, Decal and Ian running the ball, Luke catching the ball, Luis and Jose played great defense, Dylan blocking and facing double teams all day and didn't botch one snap!  It was a good day for Texan turnovers; Colin taking the Texans hand-off from their quarterback on a blitz, Luke batted down the ball for a Texan incomplete pass, and Chris recovered a Texan Fumble!!!  The Hurricanes came out the Victors 26-20, and Conference Champions!!! 5-0

The Raiders were a little lost in how to RAID!  The Hurricanes put up 34 points throughout the entire game and kept the Raiders to 0!  This puts our Hurricane Football Team 4-0 in Conference play!

Hurricanes played their hearts out in the 2nd Conference Game and WON!!  These young men really came together and played as a cohesive team, and it paid off against the Longhorns, 20-0!

Bad News for the Hurricane Football Team.  Yesterday during a scrimmage against the Cowboys, Hurricane Cornerback  #12, David Suarez broke his right arm during a play.  The Doctor for David states six weeks out, but the tough Hurricane Cornerback replied "that's ok, I be able to play at the SuperBowl!"

So it's up to the rest of our Hurricane Football Team to make it happen!  Let's get David one more game!!!

WIN #2 Canes vs. Warriors

Way to go Canes!!  The boys played GRRREATTTT!!!  We had a FULL football game of excitement and cheer!  Toward the end of the 3rd quarter the boys were chanting on the field "Who Are WE?" and answering back "HURRICANES,"  needless to say they were pumped.  Our defense held their ground and prevented any opposing points, and scrambled for interceptions!! Our offense held onto the ball and scored 2 Touchdowns, earning 2 extra points.  Hurricanes 14-Warriors 0!!!!

Rainy Football Mess

Last week we had a rainy, lightning delayed game.  Needless to say the boys had a great time getting dirty!  Mud and rain equal football in late September in Texas.  Our boys played well, but in the end were defeated.  The delays and the cooler temperatures didn't help keep their spirits up.

Hurricanes vs. Cowboys 9/18 First WIN!!!

GO HURRICANES!

Saturday it was hot and humid again, but our team came out to WIN!!  The young men of our team really put on a show against the Cowboys! They proved to themselves and the coaches, that they REALLY want it!!!  They fought back from being down at halftime by 2 points and scored the game winning touchdown in the 4th quarter!
